Pucisca , a small town and harbour on the northern coast of the island of Brac. Pucisca is the centre of stone extraction and cutting industry. In the immediate vicinity are three large quarries (Punta, Veselje and Kupinova), where the famous stone of Brac is extracted.
The hunting grounds of the Republic of Croatia abound in all types of game typical of central and south-eastern Europe. Of particular interest is the lowland deer that can be found in the hunting grounds along the Sava river. September is the main hunting season for deer. Read
